Easy Beef Stroganoff is a simple and delicious meal that everyone in the family will appreciate. It’s comfort food full of flavor that fast and easy to make.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

The next time that you’re wanting something that takes you straight back to your grandma’s kitchen, this is it. A plate full of this comfort food recipe is exactly what you need. 

Perfect for a fast and easy weeknight meal or an awesome recipe to make and enjoy all on your own. Leftovers of this recipe are super yummy, too and it makes more than plenty to be eaten over the next few days. 

I like to pile this high on top of Easy And Classic Creamy Mashed Potatoes but you can easily eat it on noodles and just dig in with a fork. 

Ingredients needed to make beef stroganoff

  • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 t black pepper
  • 1/4 t paprika
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

How To Make Beef Stroganoff

Combine meat, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Cook onion in butter until golden in a large skillet.

Add meat and brown while stirring.

Add cream of chicken soup and cook for 5 minutes.

Add sour cream and heat thoroughly.

Serve over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

If you’re not a fan of beef, you can leave out the beef and add in some cooked mushrooms instead. They’re a great substitute for a hearty flavor, too! 

You can also add some heat to this recipe by adding in some chili pepper or cayenne pepper! Change it up to whatever works for your flavor needs and wants.
