1 cup chopped carrots
6 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups, uncooked, small shell pasta
2 cups chopped fresh spinach
How to make Hamburger Soup
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 can, 14.5 oz, Italian style diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups, uncooked, small shell pasta
- 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
Add ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large stockpot.
Heat over medium heat until beef is browned.
Add tomatoes, carrots, and broth. Stir in seasonings.
Bring to a boil and add pasta.
Continue to boil until pasta is cooked.
Stir in spinach until wilted.
