Life doesn’t get much sweeter than this Crock Pot Dark Melted Chocolate Fudge Caramel Bread Pudding. It’s my favorite way to end (or start) the day.

Crock Pot Dark Melted Chocolate Fudge Caramel Bread Pudding

This is a warm, indulgent treat made with dark chocolate, caramel, and pecans. You can top it with whipped cream or ice cream. Or leave as-is. It makes a wonderful dessert when paired with a romantic dinner. Enjoy!

All you have to do is set it, and forget it and let the crock pot take over and do all the hard work! 

Get ready to love this simple bread pudding recipe – I literally can’t get enough. 

Ingredients needed to make Slow Cooker Bread Pudding

  • 8 cups French bread, cubed
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup caramel bits
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 cup half-n-half
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla

How to make Bread Pudding in the Crockpot

Place 8 cups of bread cubes into a lightly greased 4 to 5 quart crock pot.

Top with chocolate chips, caramel bits, and chopped pecans.

In a mixing bowl, stir together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder. Add four slightly beaten eggs, vanilla, strong coffee, half and half, and milk. Mix well – until completely blended.

Slowly pour the mixture over the cubed bread.

Stir gently until most of the liquid has been absorbed.

Cook on Low for 3-4 hours or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Top with your favorite extra sweet treats and you’ll be loving every single bite.
