I grew up in an old farmhouse that was moved by oxen from its original location to the place it still stands today. Inside were all kinds of storage areas and “cubby” holes. One of those cubbies was like a hidden goldmine of old memorabilia, pictures, puzzles and games. This is where turn of the century postcards and scrap books sat waiting to be adorned upon. My grandmother and I spent countless afternoons looking through these vintage gems.
Today while looking through some public domain photos, I came across a few images that reminded me of rummaging through the scrap books. Those were good times! Enjoy!
