Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

These hearty sandwiches are so easy (hello, they cook themselves while we go about our day!), filling, and delicious. Serve with chips, pasta salad, steamed veggies, or carrot and celery sticks with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (17.5 fluid ounce) bottle of your favorite buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • Hamburger buns or hoagie rolls
  • Optional toppings: coleslaw, pickles, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions

Instructions:

  1. Place chicken breasts in crock pot. Cover chicken with bottle of wing sauce, then sprinkle package of ranch dressing mix over all pieces.
  2. Cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours.
  3. Shred chicken in crock pot using 2 forks. Stir in butter and sour cream.
  4. Pile generously on each bun or roll and add favorite toppings.
