They choose to share.
It’s not a necessity, but their preference. They want to share the space.
2. They sleep better together.
Even with two beds, they always end up in one. They feel safe and comforted by each other’s presence.
3. They’re creating lasting memories.
Late-night giggles about silly things. Reading books under the covers with flashlights. Dreaming up adventures and solving problems together. They’re making memories they wouldn’t have with separate rooms.
4. They’re building a strong sibling bond.
I see them help each other without being asked. They answer each other’s questions. They go to bed happy, never angry. It’s not a perfect situation, but they’re building a positive relationship.
5. They provide each other comfort and security.
There’s a built-in safety net, right beside them. I sometimes see them holding hands in their sleep. Not even a foot in the face bothers them—it’s just pure comfort.
Sure, separate rooms might make life easier. . .
They might go to sleep earlier. They might sleep in later. There might be fewer sibling arguments. But their hearts (and mine) wouldn’t be as full.
