Slow Cooker Country Spare Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 pounds country style spare ribs
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the spare ribs under cool water and place into a lightly greased or lined 6 to 7 quart crock pot.
  2. Place onion slices over the pork ribs.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together all remaining ingredients; pour over ribs and onions.
  4. Cover and cook on low approximately 9-10 hours or until the ribs are tender.
  5. Serve with your favorite sides.
