It’s no secret that one of the most enticing stores to shop at is Target, or “Tarjay” as us fancy folk call it. Target’s got it all. Need new throw pillows? Target’s got them! Want to pick up new storage bins? Target! Need to kill two hours by browsing through a fun dollar section while sipping a cup of Starbucks? TARGET, baby!
But shopping there can be dangerous… on the wallet, that is.
When I head to Target for, say, toothpaste and a toilet brush, I usually end up finally heading home two hours and $148 worth of random items later.
If you thought Target was your happy place before, well, it gets even better. It’s now merging with a brand known for creating the happiest place on earth.
Disney will now be launching branches of its official Disney Store within select Target locations across the United States.
Target and Disney, together?? Shut up and take our money!
Chairman of Disney Parks Bob Chapek and Target CEO Brian Cornell made the joint announcement of the new retail plan at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA, this past weekend. 25 stores will be opened on October 4, with 40 additional locations expected to open by October of next year.
Target also shared new of the impending partnership via social media:

The “store within a store” will be located near the toys & kids’ clothing departments in each select Target. The branches will feature music, interactive displays, comfortable seating for viewing clips from Disney movies & shows.
The store inventory will include the usual Disney Store merchandise: apparel, plush animals, character figures, memorabilia, etc. At least 100 products featured in the new stores will be those that were only previously available at Disney Store locations.
In addition to an enjoyable in-store shopping experience, Disney will also offer a digital shopping option that can be found on Target’s website. Online purchases will officially launch on October 4.
Customers can get a sneak peek at the online merchandise catalog now at Target.com/Disneystore.

The only thing cooler than getting to shop at Target AND Disney Store simultaneously is getting to save some money while doing it!
And the only downside to the partnership: now that Target will feature a cool Disney Store experience, your kids will insist on coming with you, which will make your previously solo Target trips feel like a small world after all…
