It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been this excited about Valentine’s Day. It’s not that it has been without meaning or significance, since I’m happily married and adore the beautiful flowers that typically arrive on this day. I’ve just discovered a renewed desire to decorate since Aless is older and can now enjoy the festivities.
We got a head start this weekend, whipping up Cookies & Cups’ two-ingredient strawberry fudge! This is the easiest fudge recipe I have ever used. We picked up the cookie cutters set at Dollar Tree which included five individual cutters. They were rugged and usable. Surprise, surprise!
We also found some other wonderful Valentine’s Day goodies while at Dollar Tree. I cannot wait to add white pillar candles to the red bud vases.
